Debby and I celebrated 25 years of marriage on March 10th. We spent the day in the city looking at a few art museums followed by dinner. Our plans to celebrate our 25 years together are with a trip to Austria in July. Thank you for the cards and well wishes. We were in a Bible study last night working through Romans. Dying to sin is a life long pursuit. It is one thing when you are single but just when you think you are getting the hang of it, some of us get married and then you realize how much more there is to learn. After marriage you sort of get the hang of it again but then some of us have children which starts you on another part of the journey. Now Debby and I are looking at being empty-nesters in a few years which, as a good friend of mine says "is a development opportunity". The first picture is just after our engagement and the second is from a few months ago. I thought the image of "simultaneous selfies" was a good reminder to pray for all of us who journey together. Praise God for His mercy and covenant.
